We are planning to demolish the existing building and provide 21 high-quality new homes on the site, within a single replacement building.
Our plans include:
- 21 one- and two-bed apartments
- Policy compliant affordable housing (at least 50%), both shared ownership and affordable rent, made available to local people in housing need
- A part-three, part-four storey building of similar height to the existing
- 21 parking spaces: one for each apartment
- An over- provision of cycle spaces to encourage sustainable travel – with 31 spaces for residents and 6 for visitors
- An ambition to deliver a net zero carbon development, subject to site constraints
- A range of sustainable living measures (for more detail please review the exhibition material)
The site is ideally located in the heart of Petersfield, with many facilities - such as the train station, hospital and town centre - less than a five-minute walk away.
The plans below show both the current Drum Court site and the proposed new building. Outlined in blue on both plans is Knightsfield, six flats owned and managed by Abri – which the new development would carefully integrate with.
